Explanation: I don't know if there's an official translation in Spanish, but here's what it is: Our greens are a mixture of different construction practices over the past 60 years. Many of them are what's called "push up" greens with no internal drain lines. A "push up" green is a mound of soil, pushed up to the shape of a green, some sand mix may be put on top, then a variety of bentgrass is planted. For the past 20 years, Penncross bentgrass has been introduced into our greens. Penncross has been the standard of our industry. Hope it helps.
