nonreducible independent justification

English term or phrase: nonreducible independent justification
el contexto es el siguiente:

"Some, but not all, individual converts, saints, sages
and even scientists can no doubt help expand our moral capacity and vision. But so can clear-headed searches for explanatory adequacy, which have nonreducible independent justification."
Aunque la pregunta concreta se refiere a una sola expresión, lo cierto es que me cuesta muchísimo captar el significado de la segunda oración al completo...

Muchas gracias!!!

una justificación independiente no reducible

Explanation:
creo que "non reducible" = no reducible, que no se puede disminuir .

Pero también puede (ayudar) la búsqueda con la mente clara de explicaciones adecuadas que tengan una justificación independiente no reducible.

Example sentence(s):
  • Las quejas del filósofo están justificadas en....adoptar una misma forma o ser reducibles a un mismo tipo de...

que se justifica por sus propios méritos irreductibles.

Explanation:
In Spanish, I think it would sound more natural to use the singular, "la búsqueda," rather than the plural, searches.

What does it mean? I think it means that that we ourselves can/should conduct our own search for adequate explanations rather than just receiving wisdom from converts/saints/sages/scientists, and that these searches are worthwhile on their own merit, for reasons that can't be simplified (the "irreducible" part is hard for me to connect to the rest of the idea as well).

justificación en sí no reductible

Explanation:
al ser independiente la justificación, es no reductible en sí misma

una justificación independiente que es irreducible

Explanation:
Ensayo (pruebo) mis análisis con "brackets", como los siguientes:

<<[que tienen] una justificación independiente que es irreducible>>

Me pareció adecuado incluir la parte "que es", para darle más claridad; aunque el original en inglés no la tenga, así la sobreentendí.
