Hola,

Estoy haciendo una traducción sobre mantillas para prensas (artes gráficas). No hay mucho contexto que ayude, sólo aparece en dos partes, se las anexo.

Over-barer of plate cylinder 0.30+0.10-0.350 = 0.05

Explanation:
Bearers:
The flat surfaces or rings at the ends of cylinders on a printing press that come in contact with each other during printing which serve as a basis for determining packing thickness. (see link below)
Bearer contact: Bearers which are arranged to run in contact with those on a co-operating cylinder (from a glossary of print terms).

"Barer" es un error. Creo que "bearer" suele traducirse como "soporte" o "portador". La verdad es que mi traducción es sólo una sugerencia ya que no encuentro el término técnico exacto para esta pieza (seguro que existe) pero espero que al menos te ayude a saber de qué se trata. ¡Suerte!
