"There is also an elaborate system of automatic motion shutoffs and interlocks to further protect objects from contact with the gantry."
El término "interlocks" se ve modificado por "automatic motion" al igual que shutoffs?Es decir, ¿el término "automatic motion interlocks" es correcto o por el contrario lo adecuado sería decir solamente "interlocks"?
¿Podrían también con el término "gantry"?

shutoff también se utiliza para "cierre de válvulas" o detención del flujo de, asi como también "aislar" o "separar"
aunque interlock significa "entrelazar" se podría traducir "bloqueo" o "seguro" ya que en el contexto no se menciona algo con lo que se pueda "entrelazar".
Con relación al término "gantry", lo puedes encontrar como "gauntry", que significa "caballete" o "soporte"
