2. Technical Specifications of the main Products: SPOT 5 and Quickbird Satellite Imagery

2.1. Product Details

a) Medium resolution SPOT 5 satellite imagery covering the entire area of Southern Sudan and high-resolution QuickBird satellite imagery covering the capital of Southern Sudan and nine other state capitals, and 10 other large towns in Southern Sudan as per the AOI shown in the .jpg file; (Annex VIII)

b) The timeframe of the project does not allow for acquisition of new (programmed) imagery. Only archive imagery is specified. The imagery should preferably be as current as possible. It should in no instance be older than 2 years (i.e., the 2006/7 season).

c) Acceptable Imagery Acquisition Date: From July 2006 - to-date;

d) Acceptable Imagery Acquisition Nadir: 0-15 degrees;

e) Acceptable Imagery Cloud Cover: 0-5 percent;

f) Orthorectified SPOT 5 and QuickBird Satellite Imagery bundles in GCP WGS 84 (Pan- Sharpened Natural Color)

g) Seamless mosaiced imagery scenes with excellent colour balancing;

h) ***16 bit unsigned***
