me aparece este término en un listado de tareas que se distribuyen entre una agencia de diseño y una imprenta. Va acompañado de otros términos como Creation, Master Artwork, Repro, Printing....

¿Alguien puede ayudarme con Artwork declination?

Se trataba de un error de traducción FR - EN. La idea es que a partir de un artwork creado para un producto concreto, este se aplicaba a otros productos similares. Así que finalmente, decidimos traducirlo por "Adaptación el arte".

Me imagino que se refieren al rechazo o a "no aceptar" el gráfico/la imagen/la obra si no tiene la calidad referida. La imprenta usualmente necesita cierta calidad para diferentes fines. Un póster por ejemplo necesita por lo menos xy dpi para que no se vea pixelado o borroso. O al revés: la agencia de diseño no aceptará obras o trabajos que no correspondan con sus niveles de calidad.
