English term or phrase: hot diggity dog
Hot diggity dog. Thanks for getting us out of the doghouse

Nuevamente, es una tarjeta de agradecimiento. Lo de out of the doghouse lo interpreto como haber perdonado a una persona (haciendo referencia a la cucha del perro)

Algo de ayuda? Gracias a todos!!!

Explanation:
in the doghouse significa "estar en mala situación". Thanks for getting us out of the doghouse: gracias por la ayuda. La figura del perro en la tarjeta alude a la expresión be in the doghouse.

doghouse ['dɒghaʊs] n US fam caseta del perro, perrera
figurado to be in the doghouse, haber caído en desgracia: my sister is in the doghouse for having been late to dinner, a mi hermana le están pasando la factura por haber llegado tarde a cenar

Explanation:

Example sentence(s):
