Contexto: He tho thought of the faded pictures of the two boys, their similar smiles and squints

He visto que "squint" puede significar "bizco". En el texto que estoy traduciendo no hay nada que indique que el personaje es bizco (excepto esta frase), por lo que he pensado que podría referirse simplemente a la mirada o a la forma de mirar.
