"The ghosts were always slinking around in the shadows, looking spooked if anyone so much as noticed you which as far as I can tell hasn't changed".

Los fantasmas que siempre entraban furtivamente por las sombras, pareciendo asustados si alguien te notaba y hasta lo que he visto, eso no ha cambiado.

Por cierto, no creo que sean los fantasmas los que "parecían asustados" sino que mostraban un aspecto aterrador, para asustar a aquellos que los veían o notaban su presencia.
