Hola,
En este texto la chica le intenta explicar al chico que él produce el efecto contrario a lo que sucede normalmente y le llama "backward". Él se enfada, claro, ya que backward también significa "retrasado". Me parece casi imposible buscar una palabra que pueda englobar ambos significados. ¿A alguien se le ocurre?

Pareciera que el texto que indica Laura infiere en la no modernidad (con referencia al sexo) del muchacho "the stale doughnut of my night". Si es así el término "obsoleto" suena adecuado para él. Pero Laura debe decidir.
