Hola:

Necesito ideas para traducir la primera parte de esta cita:

"A visit to a cinema is a little outing in itself. It breaks the monotony of an afternoon or evening; it gives a change from the surroundings of home, however pleasant."

Mi idea inicial era "Una visita al cine es como dar un pequeño paseo", pero es una idea tan obvia que me imagino que la cita quiere decir otra cosa. ¿Algo así como "un soplo de aire fresco"? ¿O ando totalmente equivocada?
