Medical - Psychology / Role Meaning | | English term or phrase: ability | Hola Proz;acudo a ustedes ya que este termino siempre me ha complicado mucho, cuando lo traduzco como capacidad es habilidad y cuando traduzco como habilidad es capacidad, me gustaria si me pueden ayudar en este caso y explicar ya sea mediante links u otros como saber traducirlo de forma correcta en diferentes casos...

Para que no te confundas, siempre traduce este término como capacidad. En inglés es muy raro encontrarlo como en el sentido de "habilidad/destreza". Para eso se usa "skill".
La manera de no olvidarse es pensar "he has the ability to, he is able to do, he is capable of doing". Al menos así lo solucioné yo, hace mucho tiempo.
En los niños pequeños se suele usar como habilidad, tranquilamente.
