They wonder whether the emperor is really wearing clothes. I translated as "no aceptaron las premisas del campo" pero me da la impresión de que mi versión es bastante literal. Pienso también que podría ser "no comprendieron/entendieron exactamente de que se trata el curso" |

Me parece que ése es el sentido. Y agregaría aquí "de la psicología". Más adelante, en el párrafo, en lugar de traducir "el campo de la psicología", pondría "el campo de esta disciplina". |
