agree  Lucia Colombino: Sí, me parece que esto no le agrega más significado del que tiene el STS... Me parece que lo que pasa es que cuando se pasa latifundista al inglés, el término más cercano y no demasiado largo es large landowner, pero a la inversa no es tan así. Saludos.

En castellano, normalmente cuando hablamos de terratenientes, se sobreentiende que son cuiadadanos o empresas privadas. Por eso, yo eliminaría lo de "privado"
