Self-righteous people who think that they will be saved by their own works, ***have no business to come*** to the Lord's Table. Strange as it may sound at first, these persons are the least qualified of all to receive the Lord's table.

no tienen por qué acudir...
¿A alguien se le ocurre otra forma de decirlo que sea más tajante? Así parece que no tienen obligación, pero sí tienen permiso para hacerlo. El contexto da a entender que el autor considera que no les está permitido.

El registro es más bien culto, preferiría no utilizar expresiones demasiado coloquiales.

El texto no quiere decir que no les esté permitido, sino que no tienen el derecho moral de hacerlo, que no les sirve para nada.
Pongo "derecho moral" para diferenciarlo. Tal vez haya una mejor opción. Coloquialmente se podría decir "no pintan nada".
