English to Spanish translations [PRO] Religion / Religion | | English term or phrase: water basin | This is from a set of instructions to be followed by the altar guild (Episcopal church). The text reads as follows: "A guest priest may ask for a lavabo (water basin) and a towel as well".
Can I simply stick with the word "lavabo" for the Spanish translation (in other words, don't translate it)?
Document will be read by Guatemalans and Mexicans.
Gracias de antemano!

Se me ocurre ahora que podría ser "pila bautismal", en caso de que sea el lavabo usado para eso. |
