English term or phrase: delivered from an unworthy spirit
Here’s a brief flashback to prove this point. For about two years, I suffered the strangest headaches. It felt as if someone was hitting me over the head every 20 minutes. Having consulted one physician after another, I was eventually sent for a CAT scan. Even after this specialized and comprehensive test, they could find nothing wrong. I prayed and nothing happened. Only much later did clarity come God used this “miracle” to teach me something. When I was delivered from an unworthy spirit, the headaches disappeared — the same way they arrived: unexplained. What was spiritually wrong in my life had manifested in my body, hurting me physically.

cuando fui liberada de in espíritu indigno

Explanation:

Errata: "un" espíritu, no "in" espíritu.

agree  JohnMcDove: Sí, "indigno" me parece la mejor opción. (De UN espíritu indigno... ;-) ¡Saludos!

when I was delivered from an unworthy spirit
cuando fui liberada de un espíritu nefasto

Explanation:
O:

Some such passive voice is essential here in order to capture the sense of the English, which recounts a divine intervention of which the narrator has been a passive beneficiary.

I also don't think "indigno" works for "unworthy." The spirit in question is evil or base. So if not "nefasto," then maybe "vil" or "abyecto."

He aquí dos referencias a tal uso:

https://books.google.com.pe/books?id=o658QdCKP0cC&pg=RA7-PA1...
https://books.google.com.pe/books?id=eJ0JAQAAMAAJ&pg=RA1-PA1...

Por ejemplo, una madre de familia podría reprender a su hijo diciendo, “John, fighting with your little sister over the remote control is unworthy of a young man about to graduate from high school.”

Por todo lo anterior, reitero mi propuesta.

ERRATA:
