English term or phrase: Ossean Essenes
Order of Nazorean Essenes

Spanish translation:-
Explanation:
This is just a comment for Jane (since I don't know whether the question was posted in mistake - "Order of Nazorean Essenes" is already in English!)

Nazorean was simply another spelling for the same word, thanks to the bible translation problems (and differences in spelling in the originals too). However, nowadays in light of modern evidence that the city of Nazareth didn't exist until 60 AD, the meaning of the word is though to be different (among several theories, that it comes from the hewbrew nzr - holy, or nsr - brach, flower, or the arab Nazara - keeper).

Actually, the Nazarenes were a liberal, Jewish sect opposed to the strict Hebrew regime of the Pharisees and Sadducees of the time. The Nazarene/Nazorean society was truly insteresting, and today there are many sects/cults/religions professing to be Nazoreans.

All in all, I've seen that people that support the Nazareth city theory prefer Nazarene and the ones that stand by the Nazorean society one stick to Nazoraene.

Makes you wonder, what's in a name... :)

agree  Alaa Zeineldine: To add another angle on the Arabic word, the word in the Quran for the followers of Jesus is Nassara, meaning advocates or supporters. It is the plural of Nasser.
