English term or phrase: iron out
I have no context; it belongs to a list of hazardous chemicals.

If you have any clues, it'd be great.

Thank you

Spanish translation:Iron Out
Explanation:
Just a thought: could be many things as so well exposes ffc, but seeing your context it may be...a company, Iron Out Co., or better: a product: "(Super) Iron Out," the largest selling rust stain remover blah blah" provided by the same company, which may be one of those hazardous chemicals you refer to. If it's a trademark as it seems then it needs no translation (you might want to bracket an explanation in Spanish, "producto de quitamanchas de óxido".
Hope it helps, don't spill it, it cheers :)

Gracias Paul por la "pista". Es algo que se emplea también en medicina, así que seguiré investigando, pero es evidente que tiene que ver con hierro, óxido...

mineral de hierro = iron ore

Explanation:
If you provide no clues and no context, I believe there might be a typo ...

In case it is iron out, it means "eliminar defectos, alisar, pulir, etc ..." However if you say the text refers to hazardous chemicals it could be IRON ORE -not OUT- Then it would make sense, because iron ores -minerales de hierro- are somehow hazardous.

I think Paul is onto something here......

Explanation:
Iron out does sound like a brand name for either something that gets rid of iron or iron stains or even something you can use while ironing (although that seems far fetched). It would of course be a hazardous chemical. I wish I could be of more help. Perhaps "erradicador de hierro". Good luck!
