Explanation:
"aliasing" es un problema que se presenta en los dispositivos de representación gráfica cuando la curva o figura que pretenden representar sobre ellos tiene una resolución mucho mayor que la del dispositivo (puntos o lineas por cm o pulgada): en este caso los detalles finos de las líneas se van a apreciar como dentados o rasgados.

"anti-aliasing" es el procedimiento que se utiliza para corregir esto, que es basicamente promediar los valores de los puntos o líneas con los mas cercanos, a fin de suavizar los puntos de las lineas para que no aparezcan dentadas o rasgadas.

Me duele decirlo, pero en castellano se utliza mucho "aliasing" y "anti-aliasing" así literalmente, sin traducir. "anti-aliase" vendría a ser "interpolar", "promediar" y "aliase" será "extrapolar","extender"

La frase concreta podría traducirse así, tratándose de un proceso matemático:
