Ver abajo Explanation: Blood red tube worm = Serpula Vermicularis. Lo vi traducido como: Gusano Tubo Rojo y Gusano Rojo del Tubo (Ver referencias abajo). Lo siento pero no encontré nada para el blind white crab. Quizás si me dices en que región se encuentra lo pueda localizar. Espero sea de ayuda. See below Explanation: Based on the pages I pulled, the term "blood-red" refers to the color of the gill... I also interpret the term "tube" as meaning "tubular" in shape or form... therefore, this is how I would suggest translating the term: "gusanos tubulares de agalla roja" See these interesting pages: http://www.sciam.com/0796wonders.html and www.ocean.udel.edu/deepsea/level-2/creature/tube.html where you can see a picture of what they look like. blind white crabs = cangrejos blancos ciegos.... see the following page: www.cornell-iowa.edu/~s-thielmann/crabs.html... it says: "...to the harsh vent environment by modifying their eye sockets into small scrapers. They use these to pick their food off of rocks." That seems like an interesting, fascinating translation. I am envious! ;o) Happy translating! ;o) |
