glaucous: (bot) cubierto de una pelusilla blanca azulosa.

I guess these are what we know in Argentina as:
ciruela remolacha
(dark plums with such a pelusilla).

estoy de acuerdo con el anterior compañero. Yo estudié ingeniería técnica agrícola y hay mucha plantas con ese "adjetivo" Por ejemplo un cedro glauco. Nunca glaucosa y ese nombre en latín, larus o algo así me suena al laurus o sea laurel. Pon glauco o glauca y cualquier botánico te entenderá. Suerte
