"And what are the toilet arrangements?
We have toilets, but over the side of the boat, because it's not really .. With the new ships they make now it's quite comfortable, but on some boats they still have toilets which are open to the sea."

Se está refiriendo al tipo de sanitarios que tienen porque hace una comparación entre los sanitarios cuyo desagüe va a dar directamente al mar contra los sanitarios que tienen un contenedor para no contaminar el mar.

¿Y cómo se las arregla para ir al baño?


Explanation:
Creo que la frase no requiere una tradúccion "literal", porque suena forzada. Es como si preguntaras por "travel/sleeping arrangements": diriás "¿cómo va a viajar/dormir?" y NO dirías "dispocisiones para viajar/dormir".
