Unfortunately, I don´t have more context for "keel aid". I can only say it is followed by a particular date and other characteristics of the ship.

Explanation:
"Keel aid" tiene que ser una errata por "keel laid". Aparte del documento que ha encontrado Taña, no encuentro más casos de "Date of keel aid", pero hay muchos casos de "date of keel laid":

Es lógico, porque la fecha de "laying of the keel" es un dato importante en la vida de una nave; es el inicio de la construcción, como echar los cimientos de un edificio. En español "lay the keel" se llama "colocar la quilla", y "keel laid" es "colocación de la quilla".

Aunque claro, "date of keel laid" está mal dicho; pero aun así es muy frecuente.

The key piece of contextual information that you did provide is that "keel aid" is followed by a date. This is what makes me so sure that "keel laid" is right, because this expression is so often followed by a date, and is such an important date in the life of a ship. It is like its date of birth. So in fact you did provide some context!

Agree with Taña. The best way to get a fast and precise answer is to give the more info you can, even if the asker thinks that it is not relevant for the question. Hi, Taña. Yes, I have some other information like that, but I didn´t add it because I thought it wasn´t really helpful. That´s why I said there were more details about the ship, but there was nothing more about "keel aid".
I know what "keel" is, but I don´t understand what "keel aid" refers to, though.
