El Suboficial Principal de la Armada Argentina es el segundo más alto de los suboficiales, por debajo del Suboficial Mayor, y equivalente al Warrant Officer Class 2 británico (el suboficial mayor equivale al Warrant Officer Class 1, or Warrant Officer a secas).
