Yo reformularía la frase entera como sigue:

"Al fín y al cabo, si no hubiera una buena dosis de sex appeal no sería lencería: había sujetadores, enaguas y zapatos de tacón marabou inspirados en fetiches de sobras".

El "de sobras" se refiere a "sujetadores", "enaguas" y "zapatos".

neutral  Aradai Pardo Martínez: "De sobra", no "de sobras", ¿no? La primera quiere decir "de más", y la segunda da a entender que el material son los sobrantes de otra cosa. Por lo menos así es en mi variante dialectal. Fuera de eso, me parece una buena propuesta.
