El problema con awesome es que el uso le ha cambiado la connotación y hoy se usa para expresar admiración, igual como chevere, "grosso", super, piola, extraordinario y todas las otras opciones mencionadas por mis colegas, PERO en realidad el significado es: terrible, aterrador, pavoroso, que infunde temor. Ref.: Appletons's New Cuyas Dic.
Sugiero usar increíble que es un término más flexible y que puede ser tanto positivo como negativo.
