English term or phrase: ....to explicate something in its giveness
The language of experience is concrete rather than abstract. xx writes: "...experiences such as responsibility, forgiveness, dread, freedom, or decision cannot be measured....They are simply there and can only be explicated in their giveness".

I'm clueless here. Can anyone shed a light on this?

"Giveness" es un concepto lingüístico que indica que el hablante da por supuesto que el oyente sabe de lo que se está hablando:

“Giveness: the speaker assumes that the hearer 'knows', assumes, or can infer a particular
thing (but in not necessarily thinking about it)" (PRINCE, 1981:230)

Es díficil dar con una buena traducción. Propongo algo así como:

solamente se puede explicar como un concepto "inferible" o "deducible".

Explanation:
"giveness of something" en filosofía suele referirse a su "existencia real"

En tu farse, no se pueden medir esos conceptos (no podemos explicarlso en base a sus características físicas, etc.) sólo su existencia los explica, sólo se explican en la medida en que existen.

Creo que va por ahí la cosa...
