If it's for Argentina, I think they are called manoplas.

disagree  CarmenHaydee: no me parece...hoy dia se dice brazadas y remos. Brazadas son la accion de los brazos (hand in this case) al nadar. La otra forma de usar las manos asi es cuando se esta remando.
