Sports tipping is the UK/Australia term for recommendations to select the winner in a sport; in horse racing in the US it would be a tout and in other sports it's simply tips. But, what is it in Spanish? I certainly would appreciate your recommendaitons on this. Thank you.

Explanation:
Se trata de los datos que maneja un informante y a los que no todo el mundo tiene acceso a fin de elegir el ganador de una competición deportiva. Muy útiles cuando se hacen apuestas a ganador.
