English to Spanish translations [PRO] Sports / Fitness / Recreation / Corporate newsletter | | English term or phrase: before the line releases | In a company newsletter, they use this sports analogy (from American Football):
"To use a sports analogy, if the key to our screen pass strategy is a two second delay before the line releases, we test to see if we are sticking with two seconds in practice and in games, and let the coach know the results."
I do not understand what "before the line releases" means.
