Relámpago (destello) y trueno (estampido) se producen simultáneamente pero nos llega primero el relámpago y luego el trueno, porque el sonido viaja más lento. Cuanto menor sea ese intervalo más cerca está la tormenta y antes hay que apresurarse a buscar cobijo.
