el termino internet se hizo popularen todo el mundo antes de que un sustituto hispano ganara aceptacion.

a mi me gusta quedarme cerca del ingles porque todo el mundo lo entiende, mientras que no todos entendemos que en espana es asi, pero en argentina es asa.

La Red Internacional a menudo llamada "la red" ("the net"), fue iniciada en 1969 por el Departamento de Defensa y creció gradualmente hasta convertirse en la red principal, en la red mundial para investigación científica.
