English term or phrase: web
Hi there. I am translating the instructions for a slitter-rewinder used to slit and rewind all kinds of material, fabrics, plastic, etc. They use the word WEB (i.e., the width of the material before slitting) throughout. Examples:

Do not touch rotating rolls or moving WEBS.
Certain types of WEB material can present certain types of danger.
If you need to start new rewind rolls, tape or attach new slit WEBS to cores before starting the machine.

And so on and so forth. Does anyone know what to call this in Spanish? I thought of BANDA perhaps but would appreciate your input.

Thanks a million!
