empuje ?

boost: [1] The amount of positive pressure created in an intake system above normal atmospheric pressure by a turbocharger or supercharger. Normal atmospheric pressure is 14.7 psi.
Does the above meaning apply to "boost" in your text? If it does, I would translate it as "empuje"

I´ve also found it as "reforzador" o "refuerzo" translates it as "aceleración"

Hope this helps! :)

'Booster', in motor-language, is a device intended to improve, or modify the received input, and deliver a different [improved] output, normally with the same fuel or power consumption. This is very common in 'turbocharged' or 'turbofeeded' engine systems.

Si se refiere a "a motor pressure boost pump ", sugiero: presión de sobrealimentación ( como bomba de presión de sobrealimentación. Espero sea de ayuda.
