En nuestro caso, es lo que normalmente complementa los servicios de traducción: un traductor traduce el texto y un editor gráfico (o DTPer - desktop publisher) vuelve a colocar el texto en el formato gráfico inicial (PageMaker, FrameMaker, Quark, etc...)
A menudo, dicha persona es la que originalmente también extrajo el texto para ser procesado por el traductor usando herramientas de traducción.
