Normalmente, "go on line" significa "conectarse." Así aparece en el Ciberlexico comparativo de Telefónica y en el Glosario Inglés-Español de la Microsoft. Sin embargo, creo que en este caso se refiere al hecho de estar en Internet como empresa, con sitio web y todas esas cosas.
