Punto Plano (Flat spot): Si un piloto bloquea las ruedas durante la frenada, se produce un desgaste disparejo de la llanta. Como la llanta no gira se gasta en un sólo punto y queda desbalanceada, al girar a altas velocidades se produce una fuerte vibración que puede hacer el carro inmanejable, o produce un desgaste excesivo del piloto.
