Hola. Dudo que sea "overage". Significa "excedente" (¿opinión del excedente?...buf!). O "over-age" (¿opinión de los más
mayores?...quizás). Nada en la red con esa frase tampoco. Apuesto mis muelas por "average" y mira qué mono queda: "Nota sobre la opinión imperante". Sí, average puede significar varias cosas, entre ellas "normal", "media",...pero lo imperante es lo normal ¿no? En fin, yo no iría por "opinión normal". En el enlace 1, ejemplos de "average opinion". En el enlace 2, ejemplos de "opinión imperante". A ver si coincide con tu texto. Saludos :-)

en caso de ser "overage" sería opiniones caducas o fuera de tiempo, mientras que si fue un "typo", y la palabra es "average", sería un "informe de la opinión promedio" o normal.
