English term or phrase: hairpin bender 3

- STRIP ASSIST
- STRIP RETURN
- BEND RETURN

Cuento con estas referencias:

STRIP - this refers to mechanical device, not an object for manipulation.

Further explanation of, or description of,
the action:

STRIP RETURN and STRIP ASSIST

Imagine a straight length of tubing laying horizontally. The front half of tubing has been fed into the machine and the back half of tubing is being supported by a boom. In the middle it is clamped at the boom side of a bend head and
left free to travel on the machine side. When the bend head is activated, the boom lifts the back half, or "upper leg" of the tubing up and over 180 degrees. This causes the front half, or "lower leg" to travel towards the bend head
slightly as the material in the middle is bent.

The Strip Mechanism is activated during the bending process to apply gentle support to the lower leg of the tubing. This is done to ensure that the final position of the lower leg is more
accurate than if we just let the tubing be pulled by the bend and end up wherever. This is what we call "Strip Assist".

After the tube is bent, the Strip Mechanism pushes the entire tube out of the machine and allows it to fall onto an unloading device of some kind. Then the Strip Mechanism returns to its initial position. This is what we call
"Strip Return".

mecanismo de apoyo
Explanation:
Mira, he buscado referencias en ambos idiomas y nada. Volví a leer y releer tu texto.

Suerte.
