Transite Explanation: Trade name .Keep it in English with a capital T. The CONSTRUCTION DICTIONARY published by the National Association of Women in Construction (Phoenix, AZ,1999) says: "(1) A fireproofing material used in walls, roofs amd for lining ovens; composed of asbestos and portland cement molded under high pressure and sold under the trade name of Transite; (2) Cement-asbestos pipe..." |
