English to Spanish translations [PRO]

Tengo dudas de como debería de traducir: "DEFAULT STYLE ELEMENT/STYLE ELEMENTS", ya que no me suena bien lo de "elemento de estilo". Tal vez pueda estar equivocado, pero mi duda realmente es si un estilo es o está constituido de elementos. Es decir, a mi entender un estilo es un conjunto de propiedades que tiene algo, pero no un conjunto de elemenetos. Es posible que yo esté equivocado o bien que en inglés realmente sea así. ¿Cual es tu opinión?.
La frase donde se encuentra dichas palabras es:
"Specify the default style element or style elements (for the Output Delivery System) to use for each cell of the table"

Por alguna pregunta anterior sospecho que se refiere al formateado que hace de la salida.
Al distinguir entre elemento y elementos, me imagino que podrás determinar estilos para diferentes cosas (font, color, etc) o en algún caso solo para una cosa (color del borde).
