Explanation:
Tuve que traducirlo hace poco, y me confirmó el término un amigo ingeniero civil (que jamás había oído lo de "armadura de pendolón", by the way)
Por cierto, la traducción de los nombres de estas estructuras de madera es complicada para los latinoamericanos, porque aquí no se usan en la construcción. Hay que atarse a la traducción "de diccionario", y cruzar los dedos.
