SEE EXPLANATION Explanation: If this refers to flushing something other than a toilet, in Mexico we would use "purgar". If it actually refers to the action of "flushing the toilet", a more elegant form used in Mexico is "jalarle a la cadena del baño". A slightly less elegant form (but perhaps more common among ordinary folk) is: "echarle agua al baño". Hope this helps:-) terry 24 years living in Mexico. |
