Billing Metrics/Update Process: Mainframe customers can be tied to a specific "logical partition" from which their services are provided. Each logical partition is classified as either shared (multiple clients) or dedicated (single/dual clients). The cost of each mainframe partition is based on peak processing requirements (peak period MIPS**). The cost for each shared partition is distributed to customers based on relative usage (CPU time) within the partition. The entire cost of a single-customer-dedicated partition is billed to the sole user while the cost of a dual-customer dedicated partition is split between the customers based on agreement by the customers sharing the partition.

Billing Metrics/Update Process: Global and Regional costs for E-Business services are to be distributed to GIS cost centers in the affiliates, based on total HSME and HSE workstations counts. All in-country costs (Local and inbound) are distributed to local customers based on in-country total HSME and HSE relative workstation counts. Workstation counts are updated on an annual basis during the planning and budgeting period.
