CNAM en la telefónica se refiere a "Caller Name Identification"... (el nombre del la persona quien llama, en los servicios de "Caller ID") algunos proveedores de servicios tienen la abilidad de guardar bases de datos que contienen su propio listado de nombres para identificar a los que llaman. De lo contrario esta información tendría que venir desde un proveedor nacional o algo por estilo. Al tenerla local, la información se puede especializar para el cliente y a la vez se obtiene con mas rapidez y seguridad.
Un "dip" es sencillamente un sondeo/consulta/averiguación en la base de datos para buscar el nombre que corresponde al número que está llamando. En la telecomunicación utilizan el término "dip"... que en la informática sería "query".
Normalmente traduciría a "query" como "consulta", pero "dip" se parece mas a "sondeo". |
