La muselina es lo más típicamente posible un paño sin blanquear o blanco cercano-tejido, producido del hilo de algodón corded. La muselina ancha se llama el “cubrir”. Es de uso frecuente hacer los vestidos o las cortinas pero puede también ser utilizado complementar la espuma para el acolchado del banco. La muselina respira bien, y es una buena opción del material para la ropa significada para los climas calientes, secos.

Si es para México, donde viven los O'odam, el término que se usa para esta tela es "manta", la que más se usa para ropa indígena. Depende de tu público, por supuesto, pero aquí solo los especialistas conocerían el término "muselina".
