• 2-way radio (check communications with standby crane and first aid)

*Lashing/unlashing may be undertaken without a Quay Crane being positioned over the vessel provided:
• A common and unimpeded passageway exists
• A nearby crane (not exceeding a vessel length from point of work) can access the vessel in the event of an emergency without booming up/down.
• The crane must be fitted with a work cage
• Each Lashing/unlashing crew must contain a minimum of 2 lashers
