I believe this refers to the area inside the warehouse dedicated to the repair of the machinery used on the manufacturing floor. If this is a textile operation, then the looms and other machines need maintenance and spare parts and the warehouse shop is where the machine mechanics work and store their tools and the aforementioned spare parts.

Depending on your audience, warehouse is "almacén", "bodega" and in Miami it´s guarejau!
