El texto habla sobre la línea 4 del metro de Sao Paulo, que es de tipo automático. Parece ser que este sistema ahorra tiempo en la inversión del sentido de la línea, ya que los conductores no tienen que cambiar de cabina (metro sin conductor). Además, se evita la acumulación de trenes. No sé si este "carrousel" se refiere a la distancia entre trenes o tiene que ver con algún otro concepto.
